My Darling Bride by Ilsa Madden Mills is the first book I’ve read by Mills.The book is a contemporary romance written from a dual perspective. The main characters are Emmy and Graham.
Emmy and Graham met at a motel. Graham helped Emmy with a controlling ex. Emmy and Graham get married temporarily. Graham needs to be married for inheritance.Emmy needs to get rid of her ex.
The main problem they both had was keeping information from the other.If you have past issues with abuse, I would pass on this book.The plot and pace of the book was okay. I might read more by Ilsa Madden Mills. I rate the book a 4 out of 10.
